 In-School Youth Program

PROGRAM NAME: Innovative Concepts  (iCon)


iCon Program serves high school juniors and seniors at Blanche Ely, Boyd Anderson, Deerfield Beach, Dillard, Hallandale, McArthur, Plantation, and Stranahan High Schools.  Program services include dropout prevention (one on one tutoring, FCAT assistance), employability skills, entrepreneurialism, work experience (paid), guidance and counseling, life skills training, and leadership training.  iCon has partnered with Junior Achievement and Helping, Abused, Neglected and Disadvantaged Youth (HANDY).

Out-of-School Youth Program

PROGRAM NAME: Career,Technical, Adult and Community Education – Out-of-School Youth (CTACE – OSY) Program


CTACE - OSY serves youth ages 16 - 24, who are out-of-school. The program provides GED assistance, basic skills remediation, Career Pathway planning, employability skills training, financial literacy training, tutoring, paid work experience, support services, job placement, and follow up.
