Youth Services

Youth services are provided to in-school and out-of-school youth up to age 24.  An individual is eligible to participate in Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Services if he or she is categorized as low-income/economically disadvantaged and possess one or more of the following barriers to employment:

  • Is deficient in basic literacy skills
  • Is a school dropout
  • Is a homeless, runaway, or foster child
  • Is pregnant or parenting
  • Is an ex-offender
  • Is an individual (including a youth with a disability) who requires additional assistance to complete an educational program or to secure and hold employment.
